Within the safety of a small group of participants you can recite your poems, and benefit from the opportunity to receive direct and extensive feedback. What did and what didn't the others understand? How (different) did they understand certain things? Did it move them and why do they think it did or didn't? How and to what extend did the poem as a whole come across? Have they any suggestions for improvement?
