basic painting II course
This is a continuation of our Basic Painting Course. Students are given the opportunity to practise and experiment with skills and techniques learned in Basic Painting I. Not at home alone, but under the guidance of their teacher and in the stimulating presence of their classmates.
The course is mainly project based, and aims at coaching the students in taking a first step towards developing a personal style. Also included is an introduction to painting in oils.
Anyone with some experience in painting is welcome to join. We shall be working both in acrylics and oils. Students are to bring their own canvases, paints and brushes. The school provides easels, drawing boards, palettes, papers, mediums, drawing materials, still life materials, drinks, snacks and live models.
The course consists of 6 sessions each of 3 hours. The sessions are scheduled on weekend mornings or afternoons. Start: February/April/September/November. See our social media pages for actual information on course starts. The price of the course is 450 euros.
