Perhaps more than any other artist, the animation artist is bound to create a world of his own. With the introduction of computers the production of animation has been steadily relieved, as well as its capability extended. It is now possible to combine different media in a single animation, and to create an entire project on a simple laptop.

In this course we shall first look at different animation media, like drawing, collage and clay, and at different software programs like Photoshop, Flash and Dragon. You then are encouraged to work on a project of your own. Particular attention will be devoted to the creation of a sound track.

Material needed for this course are a laptop and a (simple) webcam.
