workshop sketchbooking
A sketchbook is very often the starting point to any piece of art. It
is the artist's personal journal, a place where he or she makes notes by
drawing fast and expressive sketches. Constantly by his or her side, carried
around in a bag or pocket, a sketchbook fills up with new ideas and
concepts for future projects, at the same time becoming an independent
work of art.
In this workshop you will be creating a unique collection
of fast, expressive images which may later be transformed into a
larger project such as a painting, or simply remain as they are. We
shall be wandering about the city, going into cafes and parks. Using
different kinds of techniques you will gradually be filling up your
sketchbook with images, emotions, notes and urban finds.
This is a workshop: The timetable is to be arranged. Find out how workshops differ from courses via the menu at the top of this page. Minimum number of participants: 3.
