2004 Peter Dammers

The fine arts department offers 5 fine arts courses (listed in white): 2 basic courses (drawing and painting) and 2 semi advanced courses (basic drawing II and basic painting II). A kick start is offered in our crash course drawing. The other options (in black) in the list to the right are workshops.

The school provides models, easels and paper, as well as drawing materials (pencils, charcoal, erasers, pastels, ink and watercolours) This excludes paint brushes, canvases, mediums and fixative.

In practically all classes subjects like anatomy, perspective, proportion, composition, tonal value, line, colour, expression and interpretation are addressed. Absolute beginners are advised to take one of our (basic/crash) drawing courses before starting one of the painting courses or workshops.
